Lord of the flies ending prediction
My prediction to the ending of Lord of the Flies is that Jacks clan will try to take over the whole island. Jack will have is clan kill Ralph or torcher Ralph. They will be attempted to be rescued but the beast will kill the boys before they are rescued.
Chapter 9 Summary
In chapter 9 clouds were getting bigger and darker. When the vessel in Simon's nose broke they left him alone. When Simon woke up he did not move, but lay still. The Lord of the Flies still hung on the stick. He walked out of the secret area, and walked with a glum determination like an old man. As he got to an opened field, he was tired. All of a sudden the beast sits up and looks straight at him. He looked down to the beach to notice the fire was out. Soon he notices that they moved and saw that fire. Meanwhile, the boys were playing in the pool and goofing off. Ralph did not want rain, but Piggy did. They both looked around and noticed that all the boys were gone. Piggy points out that they have gone to Jack's party. Piggy says that they should go as well. Jack has them fed meat. Jack offers them to join his tribe, but Ralph tells how he is the chief and no one else will take that from him. Piggy tries to pull Ralph away but Ralph states how it is going to rain and they don't have shelters. Jack and the boys ignore him and start dancing and chanting. Simon is dead.

Lord of the Flies prediction of the ending
In Lord of the Flies the book could end a horrible way. From the beginning of the book one significant person has been trying to gain power. That person is Jack. There has been situations that he has tried to show he was more superior than everyone else, but especially Ralph.
So, I think that in the end of the book the little civilization that they will not survive. Ralph has only three other people that are still with him. The person that hates Ralph is Jack. He has most of the bigguns and littluns. He has already killed a person. Jack's savages attacked Ralph's little group.

Chapter 10 summary
Chapter 10 of Lord of the Flies something dramatic occurs. Ralph and Piggy dictate to go in the forest to see what jack and his group is doing. Ralph and Piggy get there and they eat. It starts raining and lightning and as always Jack's group was saying the same thing in a circle;" Kill the beast, slit its throat, let it bleed out!". A figure appears crawling up from the beach. They all attack the figure with all their might. Then the savages go away not knowing what they have murdered. Ralph and Piggy go back to their own camp. Ralph said that They had killed Simon. Later that night, Sam, Eric, Piggy and Ralph are asleep and Ralph is waken up by a crunching of the leaves. All of the sudden they are attacked by Jack's savages. The savages ran away and Ralph noticed that Jack had Piggy's glasses.
From previous foreshadowing they have been separating. It started from Jack trying to be chief. Jack and his little savage group, which I think are trying to get rid of Ralph. He attacked Ralph and the other three when they were asleep. Jack has killed Simon, so who knows what more horrible things that may come.

Chapter 8 Summary
The news of the monster has the boys going crazy, as they meet on the beach. Piggy is surprised of the boys' claims to have seen the monster. Jack takes the conch and blows it to call an assembly. Jack tells the others that there is definitely a beastie on the mountain, and he goes on how Ralph is a coward and should be removed from his leadership role. The boys refuse to vote Ralph out of power. Upset, Jack walks away from the group, saying that he is leaving. Ralph does not know what to do. Piggy is happy to see Jack go. Simon wants to go back to the mountain to search for the beastie. Ralph gets depressed, but Piggy cheers him up by the idea of building a new fire on the beach. Many boys sneak off at night to Jack's group. Simon slips away to the secret place in the jungle. A sow's head that Jack had put on a stake talks to Simon and says he is always inside him, scarring him. Very afraid, he faints.

Lord of the Flies chapter 7
Ralph goes into the forest having daydreams. He dreams of being rescued. Then he went hunting with jack and found a boar. Ralph stared at it in beauty. He then struck the wild boar with one of the spears and realized how important hunting was. Later that day they are near the mountain and it is night. They see, of what could be, the beast

Symbolism
The definition in literature of symbolism is when an object represents something else. The symbol I am using is the conch. The conch shows the right to talk and organization, if you don't have the conch you can not talk. You must listen and have all attention to the person with it. In the book they use the conch for organization and procedure.

Chapter 5 summary and response
In chapter 5 of Lord of the Flies has a meeting. This meeting is unusual, which makes it different. Ralph which is chief talks about the duties that people haven't been doing correctly. The let the fire run out, have been going everywhere for a lavatory and shelters have not been built. Keep in mind the sun is setting so the meeting will occur in the dark. Another thing that has been brought back up is the beastie. One of the littluns say that it lives in the ocean. Every bigun and littlun worry about the beastie, and a couple make fun of the littlun for it.
My response to chapter 5 is a little bit questioning. The duties of all the kids need to be done right in order for their little survival society to survive. A person that Ralph may have to watch for is Jack. All he does is keep on saying that his hunters are doing their job and he is trying to gain control of being chief. Something that i think might actually exist is the beastie. We keep on hearing more and more details bout it.

Irony, Allusion, Symbolism
Irony is the use of words to expect one thing, then the opposite occurs. An example from Lord of the Flies is Piggy is smart and tries to help, but he doesn't help.Allusion is an indirect reference to an object. An example of this is the beastie one kid describes. The beastie could represent how the whole group of boys may have a rough start that scares everyone. Now, symbolism is an object that represents an idea. Symbolism in Lord of the Flies can be the fire. It represents life on the island for the boys so they can be rescued

Chapter 1 Summary
In Chapter 1 of Lord of the Flies Ralph met Piggy while walking through the woods. Piggy had seen a conch shell and Ralph picked it up. After a couple of tries of blowing through the conch shell it worked. Many children started coming out of the woods to Ralph. There was a meeting after the children gathered. There was a vote between Ralph and Jack, Jack was a chorister of his group, the vote came out to be Ralph as the leader. Ralph, Jack, and Simon go up on top of a mountainto see where they are. Once at the top they find they are on a island and there are no adults. They find a noise in a bush and it was a pig Jack had the pig and his knife but could not kill it. They once again call another meeting.
My response to chapter 1 of Lord of the Flies is that Ralph will become a great leader. I also believe that Jack will rise up and try to overrule Ralph. They must stick together and trust each other to keep up their survival chances.

Conch symbolism
The conch may be the only thing that might keep the survivals united. Every time the conch is blown, it alerts everyone to regroup and talk about what needs to be done. For in order for an individual to speak they must have the conch that will hopefully prevent chaos.
The image above is a conch. It is a shell that protects sea snails. It can play a high pitch musical note too.
I think in the future the conch will be quite useful. The most maybe useful instance is staying unified as a group. Also if any dangers are near it can alert the others.

In chapter 2 of Lord of the Flies one significant thing occurs. The boys have a meeting. They attempt to create a survival system that will attempt to work that everyone has a separate task. There is a fright in one of the littleuns eyes, there is a beastie that lurks in the forest.
My response to the second chapter of Lord of the Flies is that the meeting will be the beginning of a long process. If the survivors do not get together and assist each other and constantly be doing their job correctly, their survival is going to be rough. But the only thing that may help them with assembling is the conch.
